One of my newest models is made from only 9 parts, but I think it's a pretty cool thing. (2 URLs) It's a lounge chair (chaise longue), as you might see at a beach or poolside setting. Almost all of those sets look like they'd be good future purchases (even though I don't need any more construction equipment.) My favorite is 7632, the crawling crane. Very nice work. The other crane seems a little funny looking to me. Maybe its (...) (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

Those sets look GOOD. I can see quite a few new parts in there too: The front end loader bucket arms are new, the loader bucket may be too. Possible new windscreen on the front end loader? New piece used as lights on e.g. the roof of the dump truck (...) (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

Having spent 3 days on the Indian Pacific last December, I'd probably argue for the use of dark blue rather than the normal blue and some kind of orange rather than the yellow, based on my memory and my happy snaps: (URL) obviously there's an issue (...) I saw one of these on TV and the idea of a plane that could scoop up water and dump it on a wildfire kind of appealed to me. So did the idea of using (...) Being a mathematically inclined pedant I tend to take issue with this term as minifigs are so deformed it strikes me as impossible to define a single 'scale' to them. (...) This little gem of a record store made its debut at Brickworld 2008. Tucked in next to the White Castle and the graveyard, the local kids can pick up their favorite metal or punk records. Stacy and I are huge fans of the Discovery series "Deadliest Catch". Our favorite boat on the show is the F/V Northwestern followed closely by the "Cornelia Marie" and the "Time Bandit". My third recommendation... Utility Workers / Vehicles Every town has needs that have to be taken care of like plowing the snow, servicing power poles, and emptying garbage dumpsters. Some modern looking 6 wide vehicles for a theme of utility workers (...) (16 years ago, 14-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)

My second recommendation is my personal favorite: John Deere Tractors Tractors & their accessories (pull behind & front end attachments) would provide a great deal of play value for farming outside the city as well as leveling land for new city (...) I've given this a lot of thought over the last couple of weeks and I have three themes that I would like to suggest. So many of the ideas I have read have been really good ones. And TLG group could coordinate so many of these items as "exclusives" with some of the major distributors/retailers or other major companies (like the Shell exclusives a few years back), (...) (16 years ago, 13-Jul-08, to lugnet.town)
