How big (in size) would a decent MF have to be?  Hmm.  Start by assuming a
minifig-scale set (that is, one that comes with minifigs).

Is it safe to do a comparison to the original Kenner toys?IIRC, the MF toy was about
2 feet (61 cm)  across.   Would minifig scale be, say, 1.5 feet (45 cm) then?
I'm not sure; just guessing.

(...) Compare TLG models to MOC models. MOC models nearly always use many more pieces than comparable TLG models. So if MOC MF's use 2000 pieces, TLG can produce a streamlined version with about 1000 pieces. 'Streamlined' in this case means (...) (26 years ago, 31-Mar-99, to lugnet.starwars)
