Actually, my pic was not done in ldraw. I work on Macs and did mine in Gryphon Bricks, which doesn't have a lot of lego pieces or options (anyone who'se used it knows just how limiting it is). I just came back from the lego showroom and the 3PO figure you've seen in the pictures IS a metallic color. I hope they change it, but right now he's a metallic beige. Correction, the Sting Ray Stormer does four black inverse saucer 1/4 domes, but the Arachnoid Star Base only has two. However, it's worth it to buy two of the ASB's because not only will you get a complete black bottom, you'll also get four (...) (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Any one notice the shrouds on the front guns of the MTT (I think. It's the droid army transport)? Looks like solid Naboo fighter canopies! Cool! I have this wierd 2x2 brick with a technic stud. It's tan but it's kind of a milky to the point of almost being semi-translucent. The color is definately different from the 'normal' tan.
