Wow!

Chewie looks almost exactly as I pictured him.  I had assumed they'd go with
the "ghost-sheet"-type solution.  I think he looks great!

I'm not too happy.  Chewie's fur seems to be done in the same style as the EP1
hair pieces (and probably the Leia hair piece), which I'm too keen on.  I'd
rather have hair (and fur) done in the same style as the Town hair pieces.

And what about eyes?  They managed to paint Chewie's nose.

Threepio is interesting.  I didn't expect the molded head.  Cool!

I wonder what a C3P0 decoration on a regular minifig head would look like?
Probably terrible, or they would have done that.

But... I
wish he was vac-gold.  Lego makes Vac-gold parts, why not Threepio?  Then
again, he's definitely not yellow... and while at first I thought he was tan,
take a look at Luke's legs in the same shot.  They look like two different
colors!  Could this be a new color?  Maybe they're trying for a metallic-gold
look without vac'ing the peices?

The two tans look reasonably close to me.  As another poster noted, some of the
tan pieces are more translucent than other pieces.  It looks like 3P0 has a bad
case of transparency.

The interior of the Falcon is plain, but that just leaves plenty of room for
designing your own interior details. :D

:)
