I agree. I always liked toys that were made of "silvered" plastic, that is,
flecks of glitter mixed into the plastic (like the new 3PO) rather than
chromed as a coating. It ALWAYS wears off and looks awful. All of my old
transformers and my old Matchbox Voltron show this ugly wear.
