Chewie looks almost exactly as I pictured him.  I had assumed they'd go with
the "ghost-sheet"-type solution.  I think he looks great!

I'm not too happy.  Chewie's fur seems to be done in the same style as the • EP1
hair pieces (and probably the Leia hair piece), which I'm too keen on.  I'd
rather have hair (and fur) done in the same style as the Town hair pieces.

Huh?  I'm kinda confused.  How are the SW hair pieces different from town • ones?

And what about eyes?  They managed to paint Chewie's nose.

That is an excellent point.  I hadn't noticed the nose and the bandoliers.

Maybe they didn't print Chewie's or 3PO's eyes because TLC's factory isn't
tooled for printing in indentions?

I wonder what a C3P0 decoration on a regular minifig head would look like?
Probably terrible, or they would have done that.

I dunno.  I was figuring some eyes and a little upside-down "v" nose, a slit
for a mouth... but that's it.  I really like the molded head, though.

The two tans look reasonably close to me.  As another poster noted, some of
the
tan pieces are more translucent than other pieces.  It looks like 3P0 has a
bad
case of transparency.

Yeah, I'm familiar with the "transparency" you're referring to (I got some in
the Mos Espa POdraceI guess I'm just holding out hope the explaination is
better newsthan that.  :D
