I agree with some others' opinions that this does not necessarily benefit
the lay reader to a great degree.  However, I think that as people do more
and more with Legos and create things that border on the abstract, this will
be a great framework within which to think.  I could see this being a great
planning tool for geometric or abstract objects/scupltures in lego where the
number of constructive surfaces vs. decorative elements will be huge and the
only good way to design it would be to perform a quick analysis on it using
the guidelines you have written out (I see constraint problem optimized and
lagrange multipliers...but then I'm a dork).  Anyway, thanks again for
letting us know.  I hope somebody with a stable website can keep/archive
this.

Hi Jon Palmer,

I also have designed a "space building standard" concept.
It is not designed by a group.
It is of a much finer granularity (brick level).
It is also somewhat terse so I expect no popularity.

Nevertheless, I want to submit it to www.classic-space.com as it's the
natural place for it, how should I proceed?
Then I would remove it from my site.

Thanks,

Damien

Thanks Luke,

You have seen the real issues of building categories.
Not giving lessons. No fan needs or wants lessons.
But revealing some of the magic we call imagination.
Knowing productivity better and yet knowing nothing more productive.

Regards,

Damien
