I remember being very appreciative of the video game 'Outpost' 'casue it had
'Mars' as its underlying songtrack.
People who say classical music is boring and mundane haven't listened to
'The Planets' at all. Close your eyes and let your imagination go!
When I build, I have a whole bunch of mp3's from Supertramp to Yo Yo Ma, and
even some 'Sailor Moon' and Arlo Guthrie thrown in (about 40+hrs) and just
set WinAmp to random. It's a unique experience to hear the Sailor Stars
theme, then 'Hide In your Shell', then 'Air on a G-String' right after each
other. The randomness keeps me inspired.
When I made my LEGO movie many years ago, I ripped off the Mutara Nebulae
theme from Star Trek II: TWOK for the space battle in my movie. The build
up of music whilst the Enterprise is coming up behind the Reliant (done oh
so well with LEGO MOCS in another thread) is absolutely awesome music.
