Eric,
You know I love all your stuff. I've always been amazed at hthe complexity and
sheer 'wow' factor you build into each of your creations.
That said, bringing up stuff that doesn't concern the general LUGNET
audience--especially something that occured on another website in which you have
every recourse to discuss whatever issue 'over there', is not the best of ideas.
For example, I've been running a personal web site since '93. How would people
react if I started bringing issues that arise on my website over on
LUGNET?--"Well, so 'n so said this at Sparky's and Sandy's Space!! I'm
offended!!!"
Don't think the folks at LUGNET want to hear about it, especially when I should
be able to take care of it at the 'local level'.
Bringing it here just adds fuel to the already hot fire, and won't bring the
issue any closer to closure. As a matter of fact, now that the 'beehive was
kicked over there' (not necessarily by you), you bringing it here with your
post, you now have kicked over the beehive over here.
Be the better man. Think to yourself--who cares what 'they' may think or post
about me. Rise above it. This isn't some 'Holy Grail' skit with the 'ignore
them??? they're throwing whateva on us!!!'--see, I woudln't have been at the
castle gate in the first place.
Adios--see my backside walking away from it all :)
