I think the issue with using 7 is that there's no room outside the preimeter for the EOAT for transferring the blocks. when I use 6 TO's, the 'diameter' is 9 and a half inches, leaving me 2 and a half inches in which to build the EOAT. In past competitions, the robots must fit inside 1 cubic foot at he beginning of the competition but can expand to whatever size after you press 'go'. (...) So, after the last dinner, Derek showed us his "thing." It was LONG, and HARD, and it shoot those 2x2 blocks a LONG way. It was a great version of a lego gun. (...) The 1/2 Bushing cut in half makes a much batter washer than the flex tubing. The tubing fails rather quickly under high-load applications.
