"Hell in a handbasket" - sorry, there is no way in HECK I am going to censor that
phrase, as it is a widely known phrase that really loses most of its' meaning as
"heck (or Heavenly Challenged for you PC Dorks) in a handbasket".
I'm sorry, but there is a point where I think people look more ridiculous than the
people they are trying to correct. PC has got to be one of the worst things to
happen to the 80s and 90s - there was (and is) SO much time wasted making sure we
go over everything sooooo carefully so that we don't offend albino left-handed
atheists who live in Antarctica (OK, not that bad, but it SEEMS that bad
sometimes). Enough, people. Chill out, leave OTHER people alone, and relax a bit.
I'm generally a laidback person. But don't you dare try to micromanage MY life or
speech, or you'll get burnt.
I'll use gyp all I want (haven't used it in 2 decades, but I'll use it if I want).
It means to ME what it means to ME, it's got nothing to do with slurs against
gypsies to ME. If it does to you, that's your problem, not mine.
