Whatever happened to Mad Hatter?

Flippantly: Who cares?

More seriously, any number of things.

Mad Hatter may have decided the novelty wore off and went on to torment
some other group.

He or she may be posting under another pseudonym on RTL but is behaving
more maturely.

It may well be that Mad Hatter actually is here, but if he or she is, he
or she has not exhibited the behaviour here that so annoyed so many
RTLers. And that seems a telling argument for the very existence of
LUGNET as a good thing.

IF Mad Hatter IS here, that's OK with me, as he or she isn't misbehaving
and it's a good thing to give people another chance, I'd say. Let
sleeping dogs lie.
