Heh, well, that's a little extreme :) I'd probably argue that while not
"ordained by God", Christmas and Easter are still Christian celebrations;
not worshipping any differently than allowed to by the Bible-- unless
there's something in there about not being able to make up your own
celebration days.
On a related note, about when did Christmas & Easter get "accepted" by the
church? IIRC as of the 1600's it was still a sin to celebrate "pagan"
holidays like Christmas. I seem to remember people found celebrating
Christmas were fined 10 shillings or whatnot in Pilgrim days...
