You bring up exceptions, which are not to what I was referring. Speaking about
the Clintons, I am sure that they got married in a Christian church and
exchanged wedding vows (if I am wrong in this assumption, then I retract my
condemnation). These vows no doubt stated promises of fidelity, of
faithfulness to each other.
"Faithful": "Firm in adherence to promises, oaths, contracts, treaties, or
other engagements."
People who lie, cheat, break promises are immoral and contemptable. People who
do this to their spouse are particularily disgusting.
RM implied that he carried on the same type of behavior that Clinton did, which
I find loathsome. *He* labeled himself, not I. Perhaps he isn't even married,
and was just trying to be funny in some inappropriate way (for a family forum,
that is). I neither know nor care.
Your tangental hypotheticals about personal ideologies are, while interesting,
beside the point.
