I would have to disagree with this assertion. I know you are familiar
with logic, and must know that proving a negative is impossible. You
cannot prove that a thing does not exist merely because of a lack of
evidence. It's possible (however unlikely) that you lack the tools to
observe the evidence. It's possible to logically state that, given what
we know, a thing is unlikely, but not impossible. That's why I term
myself an agnostic. I do not accept the existence of a god, but I am
open to the possiblity that I could be wrong.
