Another 'new' Model added to my website

When I was busy with changing little things to my website I decided to add a ‘new’ model: this Scania R143EL8x4/4. It actually isn’t a new model. Those who visited the Modelshow Europe in ’96 have already seen it. Read all about this model on my (...) (22 years ago, 21-Apr-02, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.build, lugnet.technic)

Re: pictures of the modelshow in Geldermalsen 2002

(...) Cool! (...) It's good to see LEGO accepted as a medium of creation. Personally I use LEGO since I don't have access to a mechanical workshop etc.. If I've had that I'm sure I would be making metal robots and stuff. /Tobbe (URL) (22 years ago, 17-Apr-02, to lugnet.modelteam)

Re: pictures of the modelshow in Geldermalsen 2002

I'm participating the show since '96. I went there via a friend who was there in '95 as well. For him then it was a try-out, non thinking which respond he would get. Many people like the LEGO-models, so when I met him end '95 I immediately said I (...) (22 years ago, 16-Apr-02, to lugnet.modelteam)

Hello! Actually everything in the field of heavy haulage and construction equipment are accepted, regardless of the material and scale. I will defently participate next year, so I have started the preperation for alot new models. regards jt (22 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.modelteam)

Re: pictures of the modelshow in Geldermalsen 2002

(...) Tell me, how well accepted are LEGO models at shows like that? Does the old folks that machine their own gears and pieces frown upon the "silly" prefabricated plastic? Curiosly, /Tobbe (URL) (22 years ago, 15-Apr-02, to lugnet.modelteam)

(...) I'm extreamly impressed Dennis, it might even be your best truck yet although I still love your yellow Scania. I think the load is particulary accurate and convincing. And as ever the stickers round it off perfectly. Steve (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.modelteam)

DAF 95XF.430 8x4 with six axle Nooteboom ballast trailer

Here are some pictures of one of my latest creations: a DAF 95XF.430 8x4 pulling a six axle Nooteboom ballast trailer. It’s the first DAF since ’97. Many people requested me to build one, so I did. And I must say, more DAFs will come soon! Seen some (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.modelteam) !
