Well, nowadays you need a credit card also, don't know exactly what they
check, so I don't know if you can get more than one account without the
friends credit card number.
However, by doing this, you probably HAVE broken laws. I'm not sure what
the various state laws on auctions are, but I'm sure they have something
to say about shill bidders.
You have also broken your contract with eBay, and they would have
grounds to sue you if they felt like it.
Also, if you get your friends to do it for you, it's still shill bidding
(since up until recently, the only way to shill bid was to actually have
friends).
