I'm with Rob on this which is why I disclaim liability as a seller and require
delivery conf, it's not an option for my sales. Further, if the buyer buys
insurance, my liability is extended only to the point where I am now requiring
myself to assist with the recovery process, and that is IT.
I may have to participate in a claim, an incoming from Oz fell apart enroute
and the stickers from it were lost, not sure how to determine the value of
just the stickers so I may just eat the loss, didn't really NEED the stickers
anyway.
