All of John's advice seems very sound to me. I have tried to be cooperative with sellers, but it's true that the onus is on them to show proof of mailing however much they may try to shift that burden onto the buyer with a variety of disclaimers. Insurance is one thing, proof of mailing is another. Anyway, while Foster City is on the other side of the bay from me, I'd be willing to help you out, Frank. I happen to work about 30 minutes drive north of Foster City in Brisbane. If you are interested in me doing a pickup, just let me know. We can trade personal info privately... -- Richard
