This color issue isn't going to stop me from buying LEGO from retailers,

I somewhat agree with this...though I would have to question the brand loyalty
of LEGO if these dissenters are willing to do this type of behavior because
of minor changes like a change in color.
I would go as far as saying that these fans would cross the line from
LEGO Fanatics to just plain Fanatics.
Just my 2 cents.
