I have to agree on this point. I became very disappointed as evidence
pointed towards the Train hoax. The sets were simply gorgeous.
But what did happen was that it inspired me to create similar trains of my
own. I have been quite happy the past few weeks creating green loco's, brown
box cars, etc inspired by the hoax catalog and MOC's from other Internet
sites.
We can only hope that Lego sees the tempest these great designs created and
understand that a lot of adult fans want to see more more models and a more
sophisticated train product from TLG.
Wouldn't it be great to see an "Ultimate Collector Series" for trains? :)
