I was just browsing and noticed one LUGNETter asking another "what is your
LEGO Specialty?"

I thought this might be an interesting question to ask the whole group.

So, what is YOUR LEGO specialty?

Mine is collecting individual elements, building space ships and other
vehicles. I have catalogued approximately 2,600 different elements spanning
all LEGO themes and age groups - from Duplo through Technic and Znap, • Fabuland
through Scala - you name it. I've built many larger space ships and dozens of
smaller ones. Plus large custom models of a 727, a ferry boat, racing cars,
etc.

I know I'm not the only one who'd like to know.

My Lego specialty, hmmm.  I'd have to say Star Wars and Castle.  Before my
dark ages, I was HUGE into Pirates and Space, but have little use for them
now.  I've collected every available Star Wars set (some a couple times over),
and am starting to get back into Castle.  IMO, it's the theme with the most
promise.  Hopefully that Juniorization bug goes away soon...

Larry made a good point, and I finally read it.  The above answers my favorite
THEMES, my specialty is creating minifig-scale Star Wars vehicles that have
not been done yet.  I made a killer Outrider; too bad I broke it down and
didn't take a picture (stupid!)  I also enjoy customizing(1) minifigs and
creating characters and storylines for the castle, village, and surrounding
areas I one day hope to create.
(1)-not painting or modifying, just rearranging elements to make unique guys.
