Re: Washing Legos to get rid of smoke smell

(...) Yes, indeed - the plastic bags absorb the majority of the smell. The remainder of the smell usually fades after a day or two. For a least effort solution, I recommend putting your smelly lego in a plastic grocery bag for a bag and seeing what (...) (22 years ago, 13-Mar-03, to lugnet.general)

  NOOO...OOO!

Well, you know how they say, you snooze you lose? We I did ;.-( Seems like the contest at the BI Portal is over, they have 408 sets. Good luck to those who luckily entered. And keep watch for the "Lego Card Caddy" instructions soon. Congrats to (...) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Clikits review with actual pictures and scans

Thanks for the pictures and review. The Clikits product seems very similar to the new Ello product from Mattel. Mattel even calls their product a creation system. (URL) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.year.2003, lugnet.general)

Re: Lego colors compared to PANTONE (TM) or HKS

(...) Try the color chart on Peeron, (URL) . I believe it has some PanTone codes. Steve (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.faq, lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

(...) Wow, very cool! :) (...) Hey! Careful there! Steve1 (just ask MichLUG (although currently, I'm more like Steve.1, 'cause I never do any club stuff)) (22 years ago, 12-Mar-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.faq, lugnet.general, lugnet.publish)

  Re: ISCC winners

(...) My bad, I haven't told René who won the Milton Train Works(tm) special prize... because I haven't decided yet! Hard to decide, there's a lot of good vignettes. (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: MOC technic supercars

Hello Nathanael I would also like to have one. We have met in Leeuwarden on the Bouwsteen-dag in November 2002, you told me back then you have created your instructions by using another cad-programm and created all lego parts yourself. I advised you (...) (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

  ISCC winners

All winners should be present now... but the special prices? It says that all winners should be published by yesterday :-) I post here because there is no mail for René, hope that he will get it somehow. I hope (expect) to see votes and comments for (...)   Re: Clikits review with actual pictures and scans

(...) And to reply to my own post.. The pictures of them attached to bricks are up. The review is updated with these pics. For the attachment on the stud I used a jumper plate to get the extra lift that is needed for a clean attachment. Also, the (...)   Re: Clikits review with actual pictures and scans

(...) I first put that you can only connect the "clicker" (the part with the pin) to the bottom of a brick or plate. But I forgot to put in that you can connect the "clickee" to a stud. But it really helps you if you raise the stud up at least the (...) (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.reviews, lugnet.year.2003, lugnet.general)

Re: 4101 and 4401 designer sets

(...) Ditto, but more like 4101 and the robots. The price point has convinced me to get 'em all though! <<snipp good text>> (...) *trying not to order them from S@H right away* I hope they come to a local store so I can support them locally but the (...)   Re: Clikits review with actual pictures and scans

<<snipp>> (...) The part that does connect (how ever only to the back of bricks) is that the ones featured in the scanned parts table? I.e. can I attch one of the hearts to the bottom of a plate?   Re: BimP 2.0 Update!

(...) Agreed, blue text on black background does make my eyes hurt, literally! I have to point my mouse over the blue so it becomes yellow, then I can read it.   Clikits review with actual pictures and scans

This summer Lego will introduce its newest line of Lego. This new line will be called CLIKITS and will be aimed towards girls.   Re: 4101 and 4401 designer sets

(...) I couldn't agree more. (...) You've said it all. I think the importance of sometimes not using minifigs and getting away from licensed themes cannot be overstated. This was and still is the core of the LEGO philosophy. Let's hope these things (...) (22 years ago, 11-Mar-03, to lugnet.general)
