I can say that I am PUMPED!!!  Buying them all as soon as they go out:)

Mmmmm.... withholding judgement until I see the sets themselves.
Not sure I care for that helmet, but they both look interesting...

What period is that helmet?

It seems that TLG would be heading more towards the 14th/15th/16th
centuries, and strongly into modern-day France and Italy, if they pursued a
hat and armour configuration like that (or, in the case of the neo-Wench,
the hair, eyes, and dress style).  I wonder when a militant theme becomes
too modern for the no-war-toys policy (c.400 years in either direction from
the present)?

Well, with Wild West, the "war toys" extend to about 100 years BP, and
the adventurers could be claimed to push it to well within 100 years
(1920s or so).

The snow hood, btw, looks like it's on the "Ariel" head from eXtreme-Team.
Is this a new iteration of that theme?  Maybe we'll finally get some usable
sets with decent tank-treads again...I can only hope.  But the sheer on all
the figures hints that they're pre-production models--they seem too
"sculpted" to be mass-molded.

(...) If TLG has a no modern guns policy, then how come guns similar to the wild west revolver and shotgun are still being made today? -- Jonathan Wilson wilsonj@xoommail.com (URL) (25 years ago, 2-Nov-99, to lugnet.general, lugnet.castle)
