Okay. In order to pivot a piece, you need two pieces of information: the
*angle* of rotation, and the *axis* of rotation. Given one, it's a little
work to figure out the other.

| (...) Note that the angle and axis of rotation can be wrapped up nicely in a LDraw matrix -- suppose we supply this data as a preformatted matrix? Thus, a Technic Motorcycle Pivot Rotation Guide would be an LDraw line with the proper rotation matrix (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
