    Voting Page —Terry Keller
   OK, LDraw elitists, The voting page is up: (URL) are a couple of minor changes to the voting format - which may well change again. I am also considering releasing this months "fixes" separately.       2 name suggestions... 1.minifog torso woth train chevron pattern to minifig torso with train worker pattern. 2. minifig ovoid shield to minifig shoild ovoid (for when we eventually move the castle shield ot the minifig catogory. also about the (...)       (...) Not sure about that one. That is kind of iffy. The term "chevron" is a pretty good description of the pattern.      (...) Good point. An alternate idea would be to rotate it 90 degrees in the Y-plane. That would place its default position in perfect alignment with all the axles default positions.       i also noticed that the brick 1 x 2 with ferry windows pattern, the mindstorms light sensor, the rubber boat, the harpoon, the arm towball with grabber, the technic half bush type II, the saddle, the 1 x 2 x 2, the knife, the new 9v motor and the (...)       The harpoon, knife, and 9V motor were in the last vote but either needed changes or we were waiting on the chrome numbering discusion. I did make the fixes and sent them to Terry.       (...) Yes, at least it makes a difference if the lines are drawn before or after the surrounding/contrasting color quads.        (...) Order of drawing doesn't matter, except for coincident objects. For transparent surfaces vs. edges, it matters even less: the edge must 'show through' the surface, or the renderer isn't working right. LDraw and LDLite both display transparent (...)      (...) You can minimize the jagged appearance by using a 1-8cyli.dat around the hole. This leaves the minimum amount of surface around the holes to be jagged in POV-Ray.
