I don't know if you have noticed yet, but a recent version of LDLITE supports drawing wider-than-usual type-2 and type-5 lines. Here's an example of an image rendered with this feature: (URL) retrospect, I should have used a feature like this on the (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

i was about to write and tell you that it dosent work at all but I tried it once more and found the model has to be in the LDRAW model folder. I thought it was supposed to render the model the exact angle it is on the screen but I must be wrong. (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Is anybody using this feature (despite the warnings :-) ? If so, haven't you had problems with the camera setting? A last minute test of the Win32 version of L3P v1.2 revealed a compiler optimizer error (in MS VC++ 5.0), so I had to release a (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I have a similar problem with white space in LDLite. When I use it to make a picture it makes a window that takes up the whole screen with the part in the middle and a lot of white space around it. If I make the window smaller then I see only white (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

I checked the properties and it did have "Close on Exit" checked. When I choose About from the Help menu, it says that I have version 2.1.3. Just out of curiosity I tried a few things like running PARTPROF from a DOS command line and executing the (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Are you sure about that? It has always been my impression that "long" things face the X direction in LDraw. Take a look at the Car Bases, for example, a majority of them span the X axis. Sorry about the origin stuff, fredrik, but I don't really make many parts and I am not much of an expert. I make the parts in AutoCAD 2000 and then use stl2dat by Marc Klein to convert them. If you post the an MPD version of the part file, it would be easier to view with the subfiles and all. Other than that, please note that the steering wheel should be centered in the origin. Does anyone out there have the parts for the V8 Supercar 8448 which are decorated? It is stopping construction because until I have it, I cant put the suspension setup together and I dont know the clearences for the steering link that will attatch to it I dont even know how far apart I need to put the 2738 Technic Steering Arm 6.5 (...) About color definitions: The only thing that seems wrong to me in the otherwise excellent L3P v1.2 is the definition of color 0. As in the vesion 1.1 black is defined as rgb <0.301961,0.301961,0.301961>. This produces a dark grey color and not (...) (24 years ago, 3-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

  LDAO problem--VEC check goes crazy
 
Hello, I've been trying to set up LDAO and fixed the COMDLG32.OCX problem only to run into a new problem. When LDAO starts up it shows a progress bar with the words "Checking VEC XX%" where XX% is something like 20%. However, instead of stopping at (...) (24 years ago, 2-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)
