Re: Princess Mononoke/San -- LEGO sculpture

(...) As always, great models. =) Also, The 'San' sculpture is definitive proof that we LEGO buyers need 1200 piece buckets with grey, dk grey, tan, brown, and the other not-really-standard colored bricks. That's just wishful thinking on my part but (...) (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.build)

Awsome! Miyazaki rules! And thank God you didn't make a Sailor Moon sculpture. See the movie subtitled if you can find it. Now are you gonna build a life size Shishi Gami or Didarabocchi ?? Maybe a little white Kodama would be more relaxing after (...) (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.build)

Re: Princess Mononoke/San -- LEGO sculpture

(...) WOW! Once again, you've captured the very essence of the picture you worked from. San looks fabulous! I'm constantly amazed at 3-D sculptures made from 2-D pictures. This one is particularly impressive due to the colors used. Thank goodness (...) (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.build)

  Princess Mononoke/San -- LEGO sculpture

Well, For those at all familiar with the Japanese Animation film MONONOKE HIME (PINCESS MONONOKE), I hope you enjoy viewing my latest sculpture. (...) Mark, here's what I want you to do. Just hop in your car, bring your building supplies, and let your wife know you are going on a short field trip. Don't inform your job, as you won't have one when you get back to Washington. Bryce, LUGOLA, (...) (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) You like that one?? Go figure ;o) (...) I agree it is very hard to show the whole thing with pictures. I've noticed others having the same problem. Maybe some stop motion animation would help... Bryce (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha 02 Closeups

Great pics, Bryce! I'm glad others have finally gotten to see this masterpiece in all it's glory. I'm especially please with (URL) , but I don't really know why... ;-) I have a theory regarding Lego creations that goes like this: The larger and more (...)   Re: Inverted 2x2 Gray Corner slopes...

(...) Yup. 6085 is the only castle I can think of off-hand that I'm still willing to pay the market value for, just because of the parts selection. I come down heavily on the "parts is parts, sets is parts" side of build-vs-collect, and can't think (...) (24 years ago, 20-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.general)
