I oohed and aahhed over them in person, but I have one comment about the
minimech that I hadn't really thought out completely until later...
I usually don't at all like the look of using the click-hinges as mecha legs...
while the hinges (especially in pairs) are capable of handling quite a bit of
weight, they look kind of flimsy. Including the wheels on the outside of the
legs (up at the top there), which I assume is purely cosmetic, makes the joint
look beefier.

| This past weekend Tim Courtney was kind enough to take some pictures of some undocumented models sitting around the ole' LEGO room. They include a small one-person 'mech, and in the grand tradition of my fixation on German WWII vehicles, another (...) (24 years ago, 21-Nov-00, to lugnet.build)
