I recently embarked on a mini building spree consisting of one dozen
microfig scale mecha. The link below shows my first attempt at making a
tiny, five brick high mecha look like it could pack some power.

The picture reveals the unfortunate moment of discovery as a spotlight finds
this dark bot lurking in the shadows. Instantaneously, this bot fires a
terminal shot from its laser cannon.
When I find some more time I will photograph and post pics of my other 11
tiny creations. I chose to model small because I did not have the parts on
hand or the time to model anything much larger.
Thanks to Dave Johann, Bryce McGlone and Jeremy Sproat for the inspiration
to try building mecha.

| Very cool minifig mecha, Ashley! I've been trying (in vain) to build something in this scale, but all my attempts look like minifig sized pit droids-hardly very threatening looking... Keep up the great work! -Dave (25 years ago, 22-Nov-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

| (...) Nice model. It does indeed convay the sense of power you wished to aticulate. Rich -- Have Fun! C-Ya! Legoman34 ***** Legoman34 (Richard W. Schamus)...
