I've been using Citadel/Games Workshop paints for years (I have over 5,000
Citadel/Games Workshop figures!) and I agree that they aren't great on
certain plastics - because they're water based acrylics they have a nasty
habit of "pooling" on the surface of some plastics. A thin coat of Games
Workshop primer usually does the trick, although on metal I've always found
the paints pretty good without a primer. I've yet to try them on LEGO - I
don't want to subject any of my minifigs to customisation as I just don't
have enough, although Gui-Gonn Jinn is looking like a contender with LEGO
having 4 sets with him included!
