Hi all, I do not know who made this, but it is magnificent IMHO. I have to share it with you. Just for the record, notched axles work just fine... as long as you use enough of them. Quick experimentation showed me that using 6 or more produces a combined friction that holds the structure together quite tightly, even with the notched axles. (...) (21 years ago, 26-Jan-04, to lugnet.build)

I thought it was a good mecha. It doesnt cary over many of the shapes that most builders use in mecha, but it still looks awesome, very similar to many japanese builder's styles (good thing :) ) The color scheme is indeed something new, but it (...) (URL) RK is very posable with 2 axis rotation in the legs and Pincher arms that twist and raise and lower by the lance pieces sticking up on the back. (...) I think its a very nice mecha. The color scheme is very good, the brown, grey and light green are gr8 together. How posable is it, in every picture its simply standing upright. Is it a mosque? Is it an office building? Who knows! What I know for sure is that it's BIG and YELLOW. This building appeared in IndyLUG's GATS train layout in October 2003 and January 2004. I'd lean more towards using black friction pins (maybe with black axes to make them less obvious?) which will both grip on the inside of the hub and the axle handle. Er, they grip the axe a bit (...) There are only three pieces that I can think of that allow you to attach things at exactly 120 degree intervals, and one of them is a fairly new TECHNIC tri-beam that only comes in two sets. Firstly is a Siege Engine thingo that I saw on a bugs bunny (I think) cartoon. Basicly, its a giant thing with 3 axes on it in a circle thing, as it moves along the axes spin around.
