a few of you asked for it, so i came through (if but a little tardy)! here's my
eva-00 kai version with some poses! i also made a few changes. i deleted my
original pics, but if you remember, you may have noticed that the shoulder
panels were way too long on my first version--ergo i shortened them. i also
changed the head and chest.
the greatest change was to the legs: i added rotational click-joints using some
alpha-team pieces (thanks, dave simmons!) and the knee joints from the star
warsepisode one battle droid (the blue one). i also made the thigh rotate for
better posability, though too much rotation makes it look kind of goofy.
finally, i decided to create a couple of weapons for my eva to add detail: the
pallet rifle, and the pistol (not originally used by eva-00).
i also plan on creating a launch frame for the eva to display on. look for it
sometime within the next few months!

P.S. if you are an avid evangelion fan, do your best to obtain the bandai "soul
of chogokin" die-cast action figures. they are expensive but incredible when it
comes to cool poses!

You've really caught the "feel" of the mecha just (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

| I have to say this is an awesome EVA unit, you have been able to truly bend the Lego brick to your will! I would have replied to this earlier, but my posting privileges had been revoked. It might have something to do with the fact that I haven't (...) (20 years ago, 13-Feb-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)
