thanks!  though my design is far from perfect, i am very pleased with it
nonetheless.
I would have replied to this earlier, but my

fact that I haven't replied to any of the last 500 or so posts, sorry guys!
Anyhow, back to the EVA unit.  Here is what I relly like about it:

First and foremost: the shoulders.  Having the upper showder plates clearly
detached from the shoulder is a great advantage to the Eva which makes it look a
lot more realistic!

they also rotate on the x-axis, just like the bandai 1/100th scale version.
pics don't show it, though.

Second, the head looks awsome, and the whole model flows from there on.

i had a really hard time w/the head.  it's fairly accuate, save for the wedge
plates that protrude a bit far from the face.  if i could truly "bend lego", i
would have the tips of those plates angle more toward the face. it also took
awhile to get the form and proportions correct (all summer!).

Third, you added weapons and power cable, and the mech even has all 5 digits to
manipulate them!

thanks again!  i am very pleased with the weapons so far, and am debating
whether or not to continue with the others (sniper rifle, etc.).  as for the
hands, they are perfectly proportioned to the rest of the model which i had to
go with.  unfortunately, they are fragile and rigid (fingers don't bend, etc.).
i had to just place the weapons in the hands and let gravity do the rest.

Your EVA is rather inspirational and I hope I can do as good as you next time I
try my hand at putting such a unit together :-)

was it you that did the red eva-14 with the axes?  if so, that thing rocked!  i
was most impressed with its posability and it actually inspired me to make my
own.  if that wasn't yours, then do tell about the first time you made an eva.

All the best!

Bobby
