Congratulations, you win...um, you win...well, you dont win anything, actually,
but that pretty efficiently takes care of most of this discussion (though it
would probably look better in 2x8 bricks). Id thought about using pins to do
the same thing, but the ridge around the middle would prevent the bricks from
pushing completely together. I never even considered using axles...
Anyways, if you dont have the old variety, one way to get around it would be to
put in a section of 2x8 TECHNIC plates and stick longer axles through the holes
in the middle.
