The other nice thing is you can build a few of these inline and just toss one drive module on the back and one command module on the front, from the looks of it. Are there any sets that offer wheelchairs for minifigs? I'm asking this because for some weird reason the whole 'Alpha Team' theme has primed my creative pump, and I wanna put together what I imagine to be the ATs 'ground crew' i.e. the folks behind (...) I almost have as many of those helmets as I do Jar Jar's but the difference is I have a use for those helmets. Jar Jar can be bantha foodo for all I care. (...) Look carefully at the edge of some of the coats - very thin. Probably paper or some kind of material. Others possibly could be plastic "clay" (Sculpey and the like). for those of you who are innarested in design as well as lego i found out recently that Robert McCall (NASA, EPCOT) and Ralph McQuarrie (Star Wars, etc) and Syd Mead (2010, Aliens, etc) all came out of the same design school which explains why their (...) To be honest, I don't know. I used a bunch of bricks from my already-sorted collection. I did the math and figured out that if you use 1xn bricks doubled up (I used all 2xn bricks except for 1x2's) you could accomplish a similar sculpture using, I (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Not too badly done. But they seem to have come out quite blocky. I had no idea Bulbasur's body was that square. :-) Also, he should have a little red spot on the top of his flower. I'm also quite sure Pikachu's stripes on his back are the same color (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

Hi, There was a discussion a while back regarding accurate colors with the LEGO CAD utilities. The default colors that they come with aren't quite right. Someone had an include file that provided the "true" RGB colors of LEGO bricks. I don't know (...) (24 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

(...) If you're going to sort them, DON'T do it by color. It's the most obvious choice, but it's a bad idea. Sort by size and type instead. Think of it this way: Say you want a blue 1x4 brick. Yes, there were definitely some compromises made in the LEGO DNA model. The eight base-pairs/turn was the most obvious. Basically, I needed, in a short timeframe, to come up with a fair representation of the 'idea of a DNA molecule'... and I think (...) (24 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)
