Introducing the Moonbase Project —Jon Palmer
I was going to wait for Chris Giddens to get home from vacation but I just finished this page on his site (and I'm impatient) so I thought I'd unveil it: (URL) thanks to anyone who has ever offered support in establishing a group building standard. The ability to make a huge space layout would/will be so cool. My biggest question is how would you (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Introducing the Moonbase Project —Mike Petrucelli
(...) That would be so cool. I also had an interesting idea. What if someone made a super module using four 48x48 baseplates and had eight corridors (two on each side?) Even a long module on two baseplates, or and 'L' shaped module on three (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Introducing the Moonbase Project —Aaron Sneary
Jon, you say that you want to stick to the 48x48 modules, but since I do not have a 48x48 AND just bought 10 crater plates, I was planning to begin mine as a 9 crater plate module (which is equal to 4 48's). I plan to ensure that the final geometry (...) (22 years ago, 29-Jul-02, to lugnet.space)

Re: Introducing the Moonbase Project —Jeff Findley
(...) I really don't see why the above suggestion should be shot down. As long as the borders of the baseplates conform to the original 48x48 standard (i.e. tunnel connectors in the center of at least some of the 48 stud long sides), it will still (...)          Re: Introducing the Moonbase Project —Paul Hanson
