After all, "off-topic" in the context of .off-topic means "non-LEGO", not
"off the original topic":

So .off-topic.debate is for debates not related to LEGO stuff:

Debates that -are- related to LEGO stuff are perfectly welcome in the
regular groups as long as they're still on-topic (i.e., talking about LEGO).

The reason .debate has a separate place inside of .off-topic is because most
of the debates the pop up and rage on and on are about "life" things and not
about LEGO things.
