Got up in the middle of the night, moved the slip-clutch to a different position in the drive train (now attached directly to the motor shaft, in fact). Another alternative is to do it within Visio (which in addition to state shapes also has a great lakes shape, and has ontario as well, I believe, which we had discussed including), and then export to a .gif or .jpg (...) OK, I have a pretty good working solution. I used "contact cement": The SOLVENT kind, not the Water Based kind. I did two experiments in attaching .002 inch thick copper foil to the Lego bricks. Yep, bottom line is you should never assume S@H is sold out of a set just because it's not in the catalog. Povray sucks up 800+MB of virtual memory while parsing Datsville. If we saved some of those memory structures as binary maped files and povray could work against those the next time it rendered, It should speed it up alot. I'm assuming that most of (...) (25 years ago, 16-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)
