Sorry, I missed your bug report. LeoCAD used to compile on 64 bit computers but it's been a long time since I last tried and I don't have access to one anymore. Hi all, With the NXT system, do the motors accept a position input, and hold it in servolock? (...) A 32-bit build of LDView should work fine as long as you have the 32-bit shared libraries installed that it needs. If you want, I can work with you to get it up and running. I'm just starting out with LDraw and I'm having a heck of a time trying to get anything running under my 64 bit Ubuntu 7.10 system. I'm mostly interested in LeoCAD, since it is the only native Linux building system that I know of. Since there are no (...) Somewhere in the bowels of the header files within the RCX SDK is a list of "IODEVICE control commands" which does include description of messages required to change baud rate on the USB tower. Hello Bernhard, (...) I just checked the source code. There is no speed setting for usb tower in the code. If you look into firmdl3 you also find that fast mode is disabled for USB, because it doesn't work. I think the USB tower sends at 2400 baud (...) In effetti con qualche trucchetto si può "interrogare" in modo automatico il database di Peeron... Per esempio, in linguaggio Ruby, per estrarre l'inventario di un singolo set con questo programmino (invocabile per esempio con: "ruby listapeeron.rb (...) L'esigenza di catalogare i pezzi l'ho sempre sentita, anche quando ero bambino. Infatti non mi piace "ruspare" ma preferisco avere tutto diviso, separato e catalogato. You should scan for some old posts by either John Barnes or Philo concerning the different "IR transceiver" chips used between RCX 1.0 and 2.0 and between serial vs USB towers. Interessante! Mi piace! PEnsi che sarebbe comodo e utile poter allegare anche i files lxf? in questo modo si potrebbero scaricare, come funziona anche sul sito Lego! (...) Yes, the GPS communicated directly to the NXT via bluetooth. I can't remember who it was that figured out how to do this, after most of us thought it was impossible, but it does work.
