Nominations/self nominations here sound fine. This week is obviously too short
of a timeframe, but allowing them through say next Sunday (5/10) would work.
Then give a week for the poll on the site (through 5/17), giving a few days for
the nominee(s) to prepare their application and for the rest of us to write the
testimonials.
