I'm in sync with you guys that we should give it a try but I wouldn't restrict
the nominees to the SteerCo. I would open up to the entire community. I envision
something like the LSC, SteerCo election. We could collect nominations,
self-nominations, ... until the end of next week or say the 15th and then run a
poll at LDraw.org.
Thoughts?

| (...) Nominations/self nominations here sound fine. This week is obviously too short of a timeframe, but allowing them through say next Sunday (5/10) would work. Then give a week for the poll on the site (through 5/17), giving a few days for the (...) (17 years ago, 2-May-08, to lugnet.cad)
