Re: 1958-60 LEGO Model Display Buildings Catalog

(...) Did you notice, by the way: (URL) are so old, this could well be the first LEGO/Maesrk cross-promotion. :D eric (27 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.general)

  LCadville

And so LCadville is born! See (URL) for its humble beginnings. The idea is this: Anyone who designs a town building and models it in LDraw can have their own plot in LCadville. After a .dat file is posted to lugnet.cad.dat.models, I will (...) (27 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.cad, lugnet.general)

Re: Animation of Debris Removel Truck- Duane Hess

(...) Wow, cool! :-, Note that I've modified the head since I first posted it; I've re-posted the standing Droideka with the new head, but not the rolling one. I'll do that when I get home tonight. Actually, I think I'll e-mail you the entire, (...) (27 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  yellow house  [DAT]

I pass this house every day on my way in to work. For some reason, my wife and I both love it. So I built it. The interior is not finished--needs internal walls, and the second floor exists only on the outside, but I wasn't quite sure how I wanted (...) (27 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  animals  [DAT]

Cause: 1. For some reason, my Lego room has become a nursery. Again. (You'd think I'd figger out how to prevent this.) 2. The theme is "Serendipity," or a variation of Noah's ark. 3. I must share my toys. 4. People keep "asking" TLG for animals. (...) (27 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Animation of Debris Removel Truck- Duane Hess

Have you found the pirate sword yet? If not, I could try to find one an whip up at least a good mock-up for your .dat file. I'd love to see an animation of the droideka rolling, opening, then firing. Oooo, and a shield should be doable in POV, too. (...) (27 years ago, 1-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

The new gear sizes inspired me so much that I created a huge listing of all gear ratios that can be created with the gear sizes now available and put it up on my web site: (URL) case you're wondering, this is useful mainly for building clocks that (...) (...) (actual URL is (URL) ) (...) Those calipers are pretty cool. It seems to me though you could get more precision, since the slop on the gears is a lot less than half a stud.   Re: Technic Box #1

(...) I have sent this box via USPS 3rd-day mail to Tom Stangl this morning; it should arrive Monday-ish.
