  NQC release

I've released a new version of NQC today (3.1r1). (URL) would be most grateful if a few non-Windows platform folks could download the source release and make sure it builds and functions correctly on your favorite platform. I *think* I fixed all the (...) (21 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

  Re: Legoland LDraw model repository

(...) All spoked wheels LEGO released had smooth hubs and ten spokes. When LEGO switched from studded wheels to spoked wheels LEGO made prototypes with ribbed hubs and twelve spokes. These prototype wheels were used in lots of photographs for set (...) (21 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Part images through LPub coming out white

(...) Geoff, The reason that your part images came out white is because you overdrove the ambient and diffuse controls in the lighting section. It is my understanding that ambient+diffuse should be <= 1. You are driving things at 1 + 0.6. This only (...) (21 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: New excavator

(...) Yes, are these tracks still available, and from where? And, if they are available, are they sold in the U.S., or are they from a different country? I know there are some things that can no longer be purchased in the U.S., like the Scout/SDK (...) (21 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

  Re: Large Front Loader

(...) Thanks for feedback Yes - the steering definitely is pneumatic, and works quite fine for such a large model. The axel you see coming from rear to front section of loader is the main engine drive shaft. One interesting design approach is that I (...) (21 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Herakles: A Endoskeleton type thingie

(...) Just say no to steroids... This is another fine example of Ranjo Bionicle engineering. The hands rule - maybe the best Bionicle hands I've seen yet. The hoses also give a very mechanorganic feel to the model. If Lego made Bionicle sets like (...) (21 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Legoland LDraw model repository

(...) Great work! I couldn't get the download to work, though, even though I typed in some of the OMR numbers you listed. I also have a comment on the sets 123, 124 and 125. Are those the correct wheels? My own 120 and 125 sets, bought in 1970, had (...) (21 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Comments wanted: Plans for easier parts authoring

(...) Thank you, very good and useful links! They were good examples to start me out in Python and LDR import/export for Blender, and the latest script was a very well working import. Export needs some more work to make a working parts authoring (...) (21 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LEGO in CG classes was: easier parts authoring

(...) (Sorry for the late reply, I forgot to check up on the thread.) You may share the movie freely, just keep the credits in there.   Re: FLL not allowing NQC; Mindscript is allowed

On Tue, March 15, 2005 12:01 pm, John Hansen said: (...) So, this is the same argument we've been hearing for the last couple weeks, right? NQC is the only "Real" programming language that can be used on the RCX (with standard firmware). If we can't (...) (21 years ago, 15-Mar-05, to lugnet.robotics)

A LEGO Theme for my iPod.
