Well I've now tried the Dirt Crusher out with a 3000 mAh battery and it works fine, and lasted for just under 50 minutes! It turns out the batteries are pretty standard NiMH or NiCD 6 cell 7.2V packs with the standard Tamiya connector. You can also (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

Not that it's a huge issue, but the instruction book for 8602 has a 'comic' in the back--Toa Nuju and Toa Nokama names are switched for their 'mugshot'.
