I think that’s maybe the only appropriate use of those Insectoids trans flouro green disks-on-sticks parts that I can remember seeing, so my congratulations on that. I have to agree that mechs are hard to build. Some of the guys on this board are pretty good at it, though. For what it’s worth, I’ll offer one of the lessons I learned early on. My first mechs had “bones” that were too long. The longer you make the limbs between the joints, the more torque you apply to the joints, and that leads to the “marionette” problem. Given that the joints by themselves are usually fairly large, I got better results shortening up the “bones” and basically connecting one joint directly to the next.
