Hello All,
On 23 October 1926, 6 party guests were invited to the home of Harrison LGodt,
a reclusive eccentric on the outskirts of town.
By midnight, the assembled guests were fighting to regain possession of their
very souls, and the most evil Brikwars Game ever was unleashed upon the
unsuspecting population of New England.
In an attempt to devote every single waking moment of our time beforehand to the
experience, the game was developed with an eye towards making it a full
multimedia event. Enter the official game website:
http://www.evilwayne.com/brick/bw666/bw666.html
Make sure to check out the trailers and the introduction!
The game was set up a bit differently from most Brikwars games. All of the
scenery, landscaping, and troops were provided for the players. In fact, each
player only had control of one character. The information on this website was
the only background information given to the players (along with a 2-4 page
history for their respective characters). The introduction movie was then
played on game day to kick off the battle - other than that, they all went into
the game completely blind!
There was even a trophy for the best performance of the evening (courtesy of
Jorge Fernandez):
The most recent sidebar addition on the website has links to galleries of
pictures from the event. Two independent writeups are pending, with the first
one appearing as early as tomorrow.
Check back as often as you dare - there will be many more updates in the next
couple of weeks, including more video, the writeups, links to more photos, and
copies of all of the documentation and files taht went into the game: Character
writeups! Ulterior motives! Spells and Cantrips! A full Bestiary! The tables
for introducing mental insanities to the players! Images of the various props
used! And more!
Make sure to check out the previous months posts, too ... the website only
displays the recent entries.

| (...) Jason Spears spotted one of the BrickShelf galleries last week and posted to MichLUG--as a huge fan of Lovecraft, of gaming, and of Lego, I love the idea and the number of details you were able to pack into the house is just amazing!! Great (...) (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars, FTX)
