   Hello All,

On 23 October 1926, 6 party guests were invited to the home of Harrison L’Godt, a reclusive eccentric on the outskirts of town.

Jason Spears spotted one of the BrickShelf galleries last week and posted to MichLUG--as a huge fan of Lovecraft, of gaming, and of Lego, I love the idea and the number of details you were able to pack into the house is just amazing!! Great work!

Thanks! We were working on the entire project for a long time. Not all of the ideas and details are completely original (refer to the in-progress credits file), but I hope to post further information about some of the elements I’m most proud of: the hutch in the laboratory, the SNOT corner-fireplace construction, the beds, the steer skull, and a small pile of other period details.

As I was fond of telling everyone to whom I revealed the project before we actually played - this experience was tremendously fun and fulfilling even without taking the actual gameplay into account. Between building, storyline and background development, prop-making, and brainstorming, this was a lot of fun.

I grabbed four of the pictures last week and made a new background for my desktop. I especially love the skeletal dragon!

Technically, it’s a skeletal balrog ;) Unfortunately, by the time the players arrived in its vicinity they were already hurting, and some of them were beginning to suffer from multiple insanities that were making them a bit dysfunctional. Out of the kindness of my heart the skeletal balrog was never reanimated. That’s one of the MOCs I’ll be photographing extensively and posting about in the near future.

Thanks again for the comments! Believe it or not there’s a whole boatload of additional information coming down the pipe. The first writeup of the gameplay is completed, and in the next few days we’ll be posting that along with many of the files that were developed for the game.
