big brikwars game... —Stephen F. Roberts
...We were going to do some Brikwars at the East Coast Brikfest (june 9-11, join lugnet.org.us.wamalug for info), Jeff proposed a 'round the clock/continuous game' kind of thing. So I'm posting my initial ideas for how to structure this thing to get (...) (24 years ago, 10-May-00, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: big brikwars game... —Jeff Stembel
(...) I was thinking of a "Last man standing" kinda thing. Basically, just try to take out all vehicles/troops, and whoever has the most points at the end wins. Points would be equal to the CPs of the enemy units destroyed. I've been thinking about (...) (24 years ago, 10-May-00, to lugnet.gaming)

(...) You've got to watch out, a game like this is going to get bogged down by inexperienced players fielding bigger armies than they can handle.           Re: big brikwars game... —Shaun Sullivan
I have to agree with Mike here ... when I first read the initial posting, I shuddered at the prospect of a huge game.         Pirate Game (was Re: big brikwars game..) —Frank Filz
(...) Would there be an interest in the Pirate Game also? I'd be willing to run that (and can provide plenty of ships). That would be another good round the clock type game. (24 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.gaming)

Re: Pirate Game (was Re: big brikwars game..) —Jeff Stembel
(...) Oooh!! Yes, I'd be interested! Hmmm... I'd have to make some Pirate ships for it... Would Airships (a la Final Fantasy) be okay? ;) We were also thinking of a Medieval/Fantasy Brickwars game. Would there be interest in that as well? Jeff (24 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.gaming)
