NQC doesn't get around the significant limitations of the RCX firmware, but it should easily be able to handle the application that you describe. (URL) you are running a (...) Leanne, Welcome to the club! I think that most trains have those kind of doors, but they are too difficult to build with Lego, so they just made the train doors we have right now. Just thinking here about NOVA LTC... Did you know that Chevy tried to market the Nova in Latin America and it totally flopped. I tried to build a Green Line car, got as far as a frame that properly articulates and the steps, but ran out of time and scrapped it... My sense was that getting the center portion of the body to properly bend will be a challenge. I've subsequently (...) Very nice. It says "F" to me. Some comments. Nose needs work. The coupler makes it look too bulky. Rather than trying to make a coupler that pivots, mount a magnet directly in the pilot (using either the 2x2 magnet holder plate, mounted vertically, (...) 4561 is available in Stockholm as well. I saw it in the Store & Liten toy store in downtown Stockholm. Price was about 1200 Swedish Kroner which is about $140. We've gotten all the Sweden ones there are and will be bringing them over. I would not mind trying to do the same for Austria. I just built my 4561 (4560 is the same set without the speed controller, not available in the US, so now I have 23 extra speed controllers instead of 22). I hate it. Heck, my kids hate it. You could do what LL USA did-- lay your own track. Make it the same gauge as 9v, and use O scale rails. Points might get tricky, but I think that would be the way to go. -John (...) (25 years ago, 5-Jul-99, to lugnet.trains)
